NO R.S.V.P.
With a focus on typographic intonation, my goal with this piece was to paint a picture of a posh teenage character who in her debate class monologue, argues refugees should be allowed to seek asylum in America — from Clueless.
within the visuals, a color palette of vibrant red, white, and blue (now red, pink and, purple) is used. The motion treatment features a series of quick transitions and hand-crafted, playful details.
The visual treatment uses a variety of simple illustrations and hand-lettered compositions — what might be seen on this character’s school notebooks. To help reinforce the thematic elements being carried
